LAURA DUNDOVIC   -   MISS UNIVERSE AUSTRALIA 2008

Laura Dundovic Wearing Australian National Costume for Miss Universe 2008     Laura Dundovic - Miss Universe Australia 2008

Souvenirs Australia Warehouse was delighted to be a proud sponsor of Laura Dundovic, who represented Australia in the Miss Universe 2008 final in Vietnam in July 2008.   We provided Laura with Aussie souvenir gift packs to distribute to the other 90 country contestants.

Laura won the Australian leg of the competition in May 2008, beating 28 other finalists from across Australia.    She is a 21 year old Sydney psychology student and has gained much inspiration from Jennifer Hawkins, the Australian winner of Miss Universe in 2004.

The national Australian costume for the contest was launched in Sydney on 17 June 2008 and Laura left for Vietnam the next day.   The flowing gown was designed by Jayson Brunsdon and is said to be inspired by Australia's sun, surf and desert.   (see picture above left)

Congratulations to Laura for finishing in the Top 10 finalists in Miss Universe 2008.
